FRC Scouter (2018/2019)

A "scouting" program I made for my robotics team in middle school (I was one of the younger members) used during the competitions "Power Up" and "Deep Space". Essentially, teammates would watch games live and try to follow the whereabouts of one robot, recording every action they did. The app is still available on the App Store, but serves no purpose today as FRC's theme changes every year and I've not participated in FRC since 2019. Source code is on Github.

Yeah, I wasn't too creative with the admin code and UI

Based on the data my team members collected, the program automatically calculated the average score per match a certain team got, which helped us decide which teams to ally with in the regionals.

You could also view how well a particular team did in previously recorded matches to see how stable their performance was.

Armored Assault (2017)

Rushing the enemy base with a variety of tanks that look identical to each other
The first published game I made in 2017, when I was still in 7th grade. Armored Assault is still available on the App Store, although I stopped working on the game in late 2017. It is, though, a working RTS: you collect resources, construct defenses, and build vehicles to invade the AI's base. The pathfinding is awful but it is still playable, and the game remains one of the few real RTS'es on the mobile App Store. Source code on github.

Cube Rush (2019)

I tried my luck in making a 3d tower defense, but the game was as flop, probably because it wasn't unique at all and didn't have much content. The graphics were comparatively nice, though, and it was the first time I implemented in-app purchases and community content. Source code on Github.

I had a lot of fun revisiting this game myself, so I don't know why it was such a commercial failure... perhaps the game was way too pay-to-win? Everything required unlocks and there were a lot of perks you could only get with premium currency.

Bombrausers (2017)

Picture
The very first code-based game I created (previous games were made using drag-and-drop engines like GameSalad, Gamemaker, Scratch, etc). I didn't know what to name this project, so I took the name of a similar game Luftrausers a friend sent me and changed a part of the word (I still don't know what "Luftrausers" even means). You can drive around a royalty-free image of a WW2 fighter plane and shoot up boats drawn by my sister. Source code on my Github.

Press F to shoot and space to drop bombs, and try not to be overwhelmed by the increasing number of boats and missile-launching ships.

I honestly don't know what I was thinking, because you can't possibly get a font more ugly than this.
