Gameplay
I'll be honest: this game was my response to a game I kept seeing in advertisements, state.io. I really liked the idea, but soon realized the game was literally pointless: all you had to do was move your units to any empty enemy location and you win in 30 seconds. I wanted one simple difference: you can only move to adjacent tiles. This transforms the game into a real time strategy: you have to constantly move troops around to gain territory and invade everyone else. I think state.io didn't do this because it means the AI needs to use pathfinding and they were looking for some quick bucks.

AI Battles
A big part of this game is to just watch the AI fight. With the editor, you can let AI play out scenarios you make, and watch them fight continuously until one side wins, which can actually take a really long time! I also made a lot of maps that represented past US elections' electoral votes, and winning with the losing party is like trying to campaign hard and win elections.
